Zoya Seth was born in Lakhimpur, a small town near Lucknow, India Though she has hardly spent much time there and went on to stay in boarding schools from the hills of Nainital to the French gifted La Martinière Girls' College in Lucknow, the shocking news is that she never really planned to be a writer. Until the first year of college, she thought she could contest as India's Prime Ministerial candidate.
Today, she lives most of her days around words, poems, poets, stories, and the gamut of creativity which helps humans look at the world the way one should.
She plans to publish many more books in the future and is already working on her next novella, which is set in contemporary times and according to her, is going to be quite controversial and sensational in nature.
In the end, she believes in creating things according to her readiness and skill, to reach the end goal of writing a book as thick as Vikram Seth's 'A Suitable Boy'.
